How to make a UPI payment QR code for your shop

Let customers pay by scanning - with any UPI app. Make your own QR code in a minute and print it for the counter.

What you need

Just your UPI ID (also called VPA) - it looks like yourname@okaxis or 9876543210@ybl. Find it in your UPI app under your profile.

Step by step

1. Open the QR code generator and choose UPI payment.
2. Enter your UPI ID and the name customers should see (your name or shop name).
3. Leave the amount empty so customers type it - or enter a fixed amount for a specific bill.
4. Tick Add a caption and write "Scan to pay".
5. Download PNG for WhatsApp or SVG for sharp printing at any size.

Before you print it

• Test it: scan it with your own phone and pay ₹1 to yourself.
• Print it at least 5 × 5 cm, on matte paper, and keep it away from glare.
• Use dark dots on a light background - light-coloured codes often won't scan.

The QR code never expires and has no middleman - the payment goes straight to your UPI ID.
