How to convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG
iPhones save photos as HEIC. Windows PCs, many apps and most online forms can't open them. Here's the quick fix.
Convert them
- Open HEIC to JPG.
- Add one photo or many at once.
- Keep JPG selected and press Convert.
- Download each photo, or press Download all (ZIP).
Stop your iPhone saving HEIC
On the iPhone: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG. When you share photos from the iPhone, they're also often converted automatically - but photos copied by cable usually stay HEIC.
Next steps
- Photo too large for a form? Compress image to an exact size like 100 KB.
- Need a single PDF of several photos? Use JPG to PDF.
